Terms and Conditions of Membership

1. Overview

Style Vault offers a subscription-based membership program that provides members with access to luxury accessories for rent or purchase using site credit. Membership includes exclusive benefits such as monthly store credit, discounts on rentals and purchases, and complimentary shipping depending on the membership tier.

By applying for a membership, you agree to these Membership Terms & Conditions, which operate in conjunction with our Rental Terms & Conditions.

2. Membership Tiers & Benefits

2.1 Classic Membership – $75/month

• Receive $100 in Style Vault site credit per month, usable towards rentals and purchases.
• 5% discount on purchases.
• One complimentary shipment per month (return shipping included).
• Credit rolls over for up to 2 months in full; thereafter, 50% of unused credit rolls over monthly, up to a maximum credit balance of $300.
• Minimum membership commitment: 2 months.

2.2 Signature Membership – $150/month

• Receive $200 in Style Vault site credit per month, usable towards rentals and purchases.
• 5% discount on purchases.
• Two complimentary shipments per month (return shipping included).
• Credit rolls over for up to 2 months in full; thereafter, 50% of unused credit rolls over monthly, up to a maximum credit balance of $400.
• Minimum membership commitment: 2 months.

3. Membership Rules & Policies

3.1 Membership Charges

• Membership fees are billed monthly from your Subscription Start Date.
• Your payment method will be automatically charged each month, even if no items are rented or credit is unused.
• Membership fees are non-refundable once charged.

3.2 Membership Term

• Minimum commitment is 2 months.
• After the minimum term, membership renews monthly unless cancelled.
• You may pause your membership after the minimum term—see Section 4.2.

3.3 Credit Usage & Rollover

• Monthly site credit can be used towards rental of eligible items.
• 100% of unused credit rolls over for the first 2 months.
• After the initial 2-month period, 50% of unused credit rolls over each month.
• The maximum credit balance is capped at $300 for Classic Members and $400 for Signature Members.
• Bonus credit issued (e.g., for birthdays or referrals) is subject to separate terms and may not roll over.
• Credit is not refundable or transferable.
• If a member cancels or does not renew, unused credit remains valid for 30 days after cancellation. After this time, any remaining balance will be forfeited.

3.4 Rental Terms for Members

• Rentals must be booked for a fixed period of 4 or 8 days.
• The rental period begins on the delivery date and ends on the scheduled return date.
• Items must be returned on time to avoid late fees.
• Availability is not guaranteed; items are rented on a first-come, first-served basis.

3.5 Shipping & Returns

• Classic Members: One complimentary shipment per month; additional shipments cost $15.95 per shipment.
• Signature Members: Two complimentary shipments per month; additional shipments cost $15.95.
• Items must be returned using the prepaid return label.
• Late returns incur a $25 per day fee.
• Items not returned within 7 days of rental end date may be charged at the Recommended Retail Value (RRP) or full purchase price, plus any applicable fees.

3.6 Care & Responsibility

• Members must care for items responsibly.
• If lost or damaged beyond repair, the member is liable for the item’s Established Market Value, plus lost income during downtime.
• Report all damages or issues to service@stylevault.com.au immediately.

4. Membership Pausing & Cancellation

4.1 Cancellation Policy

• Membership can be cancelled after the 2-month minimum term.
• Cancellations must be submitted at least 5 business days before the next billing date.
• If an item is on loan at the time of cancellation, it must be returned before the final billing date or the full Established Market Value will be charged.

4.2 Freezing Membership

• After the 2-month minimum term, you may freeze your membership for up to 6 months.
• Items must be returned before freezing. You won’t be billed while frozen and won’t have access to benefits.
• Membership resumes automatically at the end of the freeze unless cancelled.

5. Payment & Billing

5.1 Payment Methods

• Accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, and other major credit cards.
• Ensure your payment method remains valid and up to date.
• Failed payments may result in suspension or cancellation of membership.

5.2 Billing Cycle

• Billing date is the anniversary of your subscription start date.
• If you join on the 31st, billing adjusts to the last day of the month for months without 31 days.

6. Rights & Termination

6.1 Approval

• Style Vault reserves the right to approve or deny any membership application at its discretion.
• We may request identity verification to confirm your eligibility.

6.2 Termination

• We may terminate your membership if you:
• Violate these terms
• Fail to make payments
• Engage in fraud or abuse
• Fail to return rental items after reminders
• If terminated, all membership benefits will be revoked immediately. No refunds will be issued.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Style Vault is not responsible for packages lost or stolen after shipment.
• Availability of specific items is not guaranteed.
• These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time.
• Members are also subject to our Rental Terms & Conditions.
